This page will provide step-by-step instructions on how to add a new asset within the Blyott platform
INSTRUCTION GUIDE FOR ASSETS:
Select the “Assets” tab from the left-side panel (take note that different screen sizes change the panel’s layout; on smaller screens, the panel will be on the right side because of the responsiveness of the webpage - RWD).
- “Asset Type” Name of the Asset is specifically aimed at providing a brief description of the piece of equipment or device in question. For example, “Wheelchair” or “Monitor”.
- "Access Levels" If All Users are turned on then the User has access to all assets. If specific Access Levels are created, you can choose those from the dropdown list.

“Code” The Asset Code usually refers to an internal/organizational unique identifier or serial number for the piece of equipment or device in question.

“Tag Assigned” If you already have Tags created; you can choose from the list which Tag you want to assign to this Asset. This can be done afterward.
Once Assets have been added, they can be searched for in the portal by selecting the “Search Asset” field from the upper right corner of the screen.
If something needs to be updated just search for the specific location that you want to edit, clicking on it, “Asset Details” will show, and in the upper right top of the screen, you can click on “Edit” to change anything.
Only users with ‘Administration’ access will be able to create new Locations within the platform.
